I'm a Solo Artist exploring my calling in the Christian scene, this is all new to me because for the last 7 years I have played with a band & a two piece ensemble & have focused the organization of my gigs to restaurants, pubs & festivals etc. As an aspiring artist one can not really be fussy with gigs especially if that is your main source of income, however not all the venues feel right to perform at? Right now, I’m struggling with direction into where to perform at, because I know very little of the Christian scene, I’m glad that this site is here for us to be able to network. So I would like to get a little more info as to the type of venues that bands & Artist perform at, no specifics required just topics like Restaurants, Churches, etc. Because my calling is to be out there, however I still would like to have back up in the fellowship! P.S. I’m also not comfortable with asking money to praise & worship God with a talent he gave me for free, yet the bills need to be paid………..right now I am running on faith alone. Somebody Talk to me?

I ( the owner) am realy frustrated and angry at a certian band registered on this website. they have played at on of our gigs. And they were extremely rude, and cocky. Such behavouir is totaly uncalled for. How does a christian band go on stage drunk? I just want MR D to know that we are very unhappy with him and his band. And i thank this website for giving me the privlage of excersicing my freedom of speech. I have a good mind of going to the newspapers regarding this band.

My name is Tiaan and i'm about to ask something on very short notice im part of the organizing crew for the overberg gospel festival (OGF) in hermanus, about an hour's drive from cape town. we're looking for more bands to perform at our gig on the 26th dec 09. I gave my life to the Lord a month ago. After playing metal for since 1986, and agter the last VOD reunion tour beginning of this year, I started workinh on my own project.... AM looking for a bassist. drummer and vocalist in the PE area. I live out in Theescombe. My cell is 073.547.5547. Style we will see about, but VOD'ish, gothicy. power death metal, throw in some Skillet, POD - whatever happens will happen Best wishes to all - great site

But this band does not need a bass i know them there bass is Jp and drummer is mario and vox derrick THEY ARE REVELATION and i dont think they would like it if they see such things i am just a fan and loving them ...woohp wwoop

Their debut release isn't out until the 29th June, but you might have seen them perform at Barack Obama's inauguration earlier this year. The choir are a group of school boys from various backgrounds and tribes from Kenya who have formed via their founder, who is called Joseph Muyale. It's an interesting story and their work is really quite brilliant. I'm not sure how 'into' choir music many of you are, but I thought it worth posting. And ons a forum? Stop the judgin' and start Lovin'. I know VBM. hes a worship leader in the Western Cape. He doesnt even know how to install his printer. let alone of what hes being accused for. We are the body... lets start acting like it.
